About Dr. Odum
Dr. Gloria Oyeniyi Odum is a board-certified psychiatrist who provides evidence-based treatment with a compassionate, holistic, and personalized approach. She treats adult patients.
Dr. Odum earned her Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Public Health from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland, followed by her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She completed her internal medicine internship at Georgetown University/Washington Hospital Center and her psychiatry residency at Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, where she served as Chief Resident.
Throughout her career, Dr. Odum has held a wide range of clinical, leadership, and administrative roles, and has remained actively engaged in teaching, community outreach, and also speaking engagements both locally and nationally. She previously practiced at The Menninger Clinic in Houston, TX, a nationally recognized institution known for treating serious mental illnesses and the founders of the therapeutic environment. She has also held several academic appointments including Baylor College of Medicine, The University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School, University of Texas Medical Branch, and Texas A&M University School of Medicine. Dr. Odum has received numerous awards for clinical excellence and leadership. She has mentored countless students and young doctors, and is passionate about speaking about mental health wellness.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out and traveling.
